Choosing A Virtual Assistant

The client should keep a note of the regularly tasks that could easily be outsourced to a VA.

The client should make notes on specific procedures and practices which will help the VA fit seamlessly into the client's business.

The client and the VA should agree in writing precisely what work is to be carried out, the timescales involved and the cost. Changes to the agreed work specification after the work has started would normally cause a change in timescales and costs.

VAs are not employed by the clients but are individuals with considerable experience that operate as the client's partner. VAs do not need to be micro-managed. If a problem or query occurs, the VA will contact the client.

Only choose a VA that has a track record of satisfactorily completed work.
